A partial denture is a removable appliance that is made out of a metal framework with one or more porcelain or plastic teeth that attaches to natural teeth. It can also be made out of a hard or soft plastic acrylic material. It is a good alternative if you are missing teeth on both sides and if you are not a candidate for a fixed bridge.

Dentures are a great alternative to dental implants and dental bridges, which are more or less permanently affixed to the bone.
